EU4LMI is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards.

Conformance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. EU4LMI is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.

  • ARIA attributes where appropriate
  • Text alternatives for non-text content
  • Announcements for dynamic content changes

Keyboard Navigation

  • All functionality is operable through a keyboard interface
  • Skip to content link
  • Logical tab order
  • Visible focus indicators

Text Adjustments

  • Adjustable text size controls
  • Relative font sizes throughout the site
  • Text remains readable when zoomed

Visual Adjustments

  • High contrast mode
  • Sufficient color contrast
  • Content is not dependent on color alone

Using Our Accessibility Features

You can access our accessibility features through the accessibility panel, which can be opened by clicking the accessibility icon in the navigation bar or by using the floating accessibility button on the side of the screen.

Text Size

You can increase or decrease the text size using the A+ and A- buttons in the accessibility panel or in the navigation dropdown.

High Contrast Mode

Toggle high contrast mode using the "High Contrast" option in the accessibility panel.

Keyboard Navigation

Press Tab to navigate through interactive elements on the page. Press Enter or Space to activate buttons and links. Use the "Skip to content" link at the top of the page to bypass navigation.
